Just some lunch time photos top get you salivating. I think I might get myself some pizza for lunch.
I do have a great recipe for the dough that always works. 1 10g sachet of instant dried yeast, 750 ml flour, pinch of salt and sugar and add water slowly until it forms a dough (that is not too sticky)
Place in a bowl in a warm place, or sometimes I will turn the oven on for a bit to warm up and turn it off before you add the dough. Cover with a damp cloth and leave for about 30 mins to an hour. Knead, Roll and you are on your way.
Another quick and easy alternative is if you use pita breads, cut in half through the middle to make 2 pizza bases. Grill them a little to crisp up the bottom and takes no time at all!
This is why I love Pizza, because the ingrdients are where you can really experiment. You can put just about anything you like on it. So something different often I will use garlic butter instead of tomato paste and I think one of my favorites is using garlic butter, spinach, feta, bacon, pickled chillies and avocado Yummm!
Happy Feasting!
